Sustainability: Kind to Skin, Kind to the Planet
At Muck and Melt, we believe that beautiful skincare shouldn’t come at the earth’s expense. From the ingredients we choose to the packaging we use, every decision is made with sustainability in mind—so you can enjoy luxury handmade vegan soap that’s as kind to the planet as it is to your skin.
Thoughtfully Sourced, Naturally Nourishing
Our soaps are handcrafted using natural plant-based oils, mineral-rich clays, and essential oils, avoiding the harsh chemicals and synthetic detergents found in many commercial soaps. We carefully select ethically sourced ingredients, ensuring our products are palm oil-free, cruelty-free, and vegan.
Biodegradable Packaging & Zero-Waste Approach
We’re committed to reducing waste, which is why our soap bars are plastic-free and wrapped in fully recyclable, biodegradable packaging. Unlike liquid soaps that come in single-use plastic, our solid bars offer a zero-waste alternative that lasts longer and reduces environmental impact.
Handmade in Small Batches for Minimal Waste
Every soap is crafted by hand in small batches, allowing us to minimize waste, reduce energy consumption, and ensure the highest quality in every bar. Our cold process method means no unnecessary additives—just pure, skin-loving ingredients inspired by the beauty of nature.

A Greener Future, One Bar at a Time
By choosing Muck and Melt, you’re not just investing in artisanal, skin-friendly soaps—you’re supporting a more sustainable way of living. We’re continuously exploring ways to reduce our footprint, support ethical suppliers, and make eco-friendly skincare more accessible.
Because skincare should be clean, conscious, and connected to nature—without harming it.

What do I do with all these woodchips?
Use the wood chips as a mulch in your plant pots. If you lay it on top of the soil it will slow down water evaporation, make it harder for weeds to grow and eventually break down in the soil. Your plants will also look neat and tidy! Alternatively, throw it on the compost or mulch around plants in the garden.
What's Next For Our Packaging?
We are growing flowers onsite to harvest and dry. The dried flowers and stems will be used for future filler packaging. If you’re lucky, you might even see a few seeds in there- keep them until April and then plant them in the garden!
